The mayor of Muros, Federico Tolu, has committed to protesting the ongoing power outages that have been causing disruption in the town for weeks. He has written a letter to Enel and the prefect of Sassari.
In the letter, the municipal administration expresses deep concern about the now unsustainable situation caused by the ongoing power outages that are causing hardship for residents. The frequent interruptions are causing serious disruption to the population, businesses, and essential services, compromising residents' normal daily lives and creating significant challenges for safety and the continuity of services.
Faced with this situation, which can no longer be tolerated, Mayor Federico Tolu has sent a formal communication to both Enel and the Prefect, requesting urgent action to identify and definitively resolve the critical issues causing the repeated power outages.
"It is unacceptable," the mayor declared, "that the citizens of Muros must live with constant disruptions that severely impact the quality of life and economic activity in the area. The relevant utilities must intervene promptly to guarantee an essential service like electricity, and a dedicated information service must be activated for municipal administrations to keep residents informed."
The municipal administration will continue to carefully monitor the situation and to urge all competent institutions and bodies to restore normality and reliability of the service as soon as possible.
