Construction site in viale Marconi: kilometre-long queues in via Mercalli and from Quartu

A construction site on Viale Marconi, in Cagliari, is paralyzing traffic in the entire area: kilometers-long traffic jams on Via Mercalli and on the embankment road, almost from the junction for Genneruxi, and on Viale Marconi coming from Quartu.

The road "cut", for the construction of a sewer connection with a private business, began yesterday shortly after the fire station, in the direction of Cagliari: thus the two lanes in each direction of travel were reduced to one, with the inevitable hitch.

The Municipality has announced that the inconvenience should end today. In the meantime, however, the situation is out of control. To travel a few dozen meters by car, you need to arm yourself with a lot of patience and wait.
