Metro construction site and new road system between Via Roma and the port. Work continues in Cagliari on the light rail line between Piazza Repubblica and the station. To ensure the safe completion of work to resolve interference with gas pipelines, the Municipality has introduced new regulations for road traffic.
The executive order, issued by the Mobility Department, establishes changes to traffic along the Lungomare New York 11 Settembre, specifically affecting the stretch between Piazza Deffenu and the exit road from the historic port towards Piazza Matteotti.
The provisions will remain in force until September 17th and include the narrowing of the carriageway (with a dedicated lane for vehicle traffic), a speed limit of 30 km/h, and a complete ban on overtaking along the entire stretch of road affected by the construction site.
