"I would like to hold my husband's dog tag in my hands at least once, I would like to place it on the rock that commemorates that tragedy."

Francesca Ragusa, widow of Army Captain Salvatore Ingrosso, one of the victims of the plane crash near Conc'e Oru on the night of September 13-14, 1979, was deeply moved when she learned of the discovery of the object linked to her husband: "I've been crying for days. Knowing that something belonging to my Toto has been found is a great joy for me."

Salvatore Ingrosso's dog tag was recovered in August 2016 by Alessandro Lepori, a hiker from Sarroch visiting the wreckage of the ATI DC-9: the object was then delivered to General Giovanni Domenico Pintus on the 17th of the same month, and was subsequently archived.

Since then, no one has ever contacted the widow of Captain Ingrosso, who at the time commanded the Civitavecchia Military Engineers Company.
