The complaint from Anief Sardegna relating to the heartfelt appeal of an aspiring teacher from Sassari who felt discriminated against during the competition because she was forced , according to the provisions of the Ministry, to move in two places arrived directly on the desk of the Minister of Education Giuseppe Valditara. different regions to take the oral test .

A report which is certainly not the first on the topic, and which has now however pushed the trade union association representing teachers and trainers to ask the Minister for answers on the matter .

THE STORY – «I live in the province of Sassari – the story of the aspiring teacher in question – and I am applying for positions to teach French (middle and high school) in Sardinia. For the oral test, my competition classes were merged into two different regions, so, according to the Ministry of Education, I should take one test in Tuscany and one in Piedmont."

In other words, a teacher who resides in Sardinia and has passed the written test for professorships on the island will have to face oral tests in two different regions of the peninsula.

«Was “competitive tourism” born? – continues the teacher –. This is discriminatory, first and foremost from an economic point of view. In fact, leaving to and from Sardinia, from April onwards, has a considerable cost (see the continuous debate on the "expensive tickets") not to mention that, probably, I would have to leave at least a day before, organizing all this in a few days, given that we will be notified via email 15 days in advance."

Then there is another aspect. «The outline for the exam – explains the aspiring teacher – is extracted 24 hours in advance, so I would know it while travelling, at best in a B&B, where I would physically have to prepare a Power Point for the presentation with all that this entails on a of concentration and more, for a test that is worth my economic and working future. Basically I don't find it fair but discriminatory, as I would be evaluated for my spending capacity to take the exam, rather than for my real preparation".
