Another meeting, but the supplementary agreement for general practice hasn't been signed . Discussions continue, and the reorganization of primary care in the community—from functional territorial aggregations to concrete incentives for professionals who agree to open a practice in disadvantaged areas—continues to be postponed.
There are still issues to be resolved, particularly regarding community homes, waiting lists, emergency rooms, and home care for those over sixty-five.
According to professionals, the Region is making unacceptable demands ; the organizations at the negotiating table aren't always on the same page; meanwhile, the Association of General Practitioners of Sardinia, an independent group that isn't affiliated with any union, has announced a demonstration at 11 a.m. Wednesday in front of the Regional Council building, "to highlight working conditions in light of the new national contract and the upcoming supplementary contract, and the bureaucratic overload."
