The offshore of discord. The Municipality of Arzachena also wants to understand better. With the Gallura Committee, experts and operators in the sector will meet tomorrow, at 11, in the Nexus room of the Town Hall, to discuss "What future for the North-East of Sardinia". This is the theme of the meeting organized to inform citizens, operators and tourists about the imminent approval of the offshore wind projects and about the critical issues for the environment, the economy and safety also in the logic of protecting the sea and the territory.

The focus will be on the four mega projects that could soon be built off the Costa Smeralda, about fifty kilometers from the most beautiful coastlines in the world. The largest park, Sardinia North East, is the only one that will be connected to Civitavecchia, with 80 wind turbines 323 meters high. The other three will connect their cables to Pittulongu, the beach of the Olbia people who, in some way, will have to coexist with the new scenarios decided by wind speculators. We are talking about Poseidon (72 wind turbines 280 meters high), Tibula (65 towers 268 meters high) and Nurax (33 blades 290 meters high). In particular, Nurax and Poseidon, ahead in the environmental impact assessment procedure, are expected to be contested.
