Demonstration in front of the Rectorate. The representative of Languages, Sara Piu: "We had been there for two weeks, everything came down: we have no Faculty"Hundreds of students from the University of Cagliari gathered in front of the Rectorate. They are afraid to return to their faculties, after the collapse of the building that housed Languages for a few days, after the transfer of Geology. A building that collapsed shortly before 10pm. And only by chance there was no news of a massacre.
They ask for safety, the boys. And funds for maintenance, monitoring, static checks.
"For us it is a mourning, we no longer have our Faculty: we are forced to return to Dad for who knows how long". These are heartfelt words from Sara Piu, representative of the Faculty of Languages, during the event "We were there for twenty days", he added, before asking for silence, "it happened after years of work. Yesterday we all risked our lives: up at 7.30 there were lessons. And two hours later it all came down. "
After some interventions, the students decided to move from via Università to the Magisterium, where the collapse occurred.
