Marijuana, cocaine, hashish, and methadone : this is what the Carabinieri found during an anti-drug operation conducted in the early hours of the morning at a farm in Sanluri . The operation resulted in two arrests: a 46-year-old farmer and a 27-year-old worker, both residents of the same municipality.

The operation was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Sanluri Company with the support of the Guasila, Samassi, Samatzai, and Furtei Stations. The specialist contribution of the Sardinian Hunters Helicopter Squadron from Abbasanta, the canine units, and the NAS officers from Cagliari were also crucial. The military's activity focused on the company's properties. During the searches, the Carabinieri officers found a veritable "sample" of drugs: approximately 210 grams of cocaine, 360 grams of hashish, 850 grams of marijuana, and five bottles of methadone were seized.

The Carabinieri also recovered packaging materials, including five precision scales, a vacuum packing machine, and cutting agents. They also found, in a specially equipped room, four pieces of industrial marijuana processing equipment, which still contained residues of the drug. €16,450 in cash, all in small denomination bills, were also seized. However, checks for weapons were negative. The operation also included verification of the legal status of the farm's staff and compliance with animal health regulations. Further administrative and labor investigations are underway regarding these matters. Following the completion of the required formalities and by order of the Public Prosecutor on duty, the two arrested individuals were transferred to the prison in Uta.
