The investigations of the Carabinieri del ROS of Milan say that the Calajò (alleged drug dealing dynasty of the Barona district of Milan) were at home in Olbia. The circumstances of the presence in Gallura of the bosses led by "prince" Nazzareno Calajò emerge from the bis order of the Barrios operation, coordinated by the Milan DDA.
Yesterday the Carabinieri (there were also the soldiers of the Territorial Department of Olbia) arrested 14 people on the orders of the investigating judge Massimo Baraldo (the investigations are carried out by the deputies Francesco De Tommasi and Gianluca Prisco). Among the recipients of the measure is Luca Calajò, 41 years old, a close family member of the "prince". The Gallura branch of the Barrios operation concerns the relationships of the Barona clan with the alleged Sardinian accomplices, the mechanic Massimo Pileri and the lorry driver Antonio Pirastru, both from Olbia. There is talk of deliveries of money for at least five loads of cocaine arriving in the Gallura city (even if the investigating judge granted the precautionary measure only for some of the facts indicated by the prosecutors). Pileri and Pirastru are in the Bancali prison in Sassari.
The interesting fact, according to the ROS investigations, is the ease with which Luca Calajò would have moved from Milan to Olbia, traveling by plane, without leaving any trace of his personal details. The airline tickets are registered to other people or contain false data. For Calajò, however, it was not a problem to arrive in Olbia incognito, despite being "attended" by various police forces. The Calajòs, according to the DDA of Milan, had included Olbia and the Costa Smeralda among their "drug centers" .
Sardinia, therefore, had become an operational area of the alleged clan, together, for example, with the control of events in the Meazza stadium in Milan. According to ROS, one of those arrested in the Barrios bis operation, Matteo Ardolino, had relations with Vittorio Boiocchi, head of Inter's Curva nord, killed with several gunshots in an ambush in October 2022. Antonio Pirastru and Massimo Pileri will be interrogated Monday. Pirastru's lawyer, Nicola Di Benedetto, pointed out that criminal conspiracy is not being hypothesized for his client.
