Cobwebs, insects, and serious hygiene deficiencies: these are what the NAS Carabinieri found during a check of a pizzeria in Cagliari's Poetto neighborhood. According to a statement from the Carabinieri, the business was closed and the person responsible was fined €13,000.

According to what has emerged, the pizzeria used water from "alternative sources" , not being connected to the public water network, and lacking the necessary certifications of potability and origin, with potential risks for the health of customers.

The NAS Carabinieri ordered the administrative seizure of the premises, equipment, and food products present.
