The Uil Fpl denounces what happened today in the women's locker rooms of the Santissima Annunziata hospital of the AOU of Sassari.
"Unauthorized persons," writes the union, through Mariangela Campus, Uil Fpl's health secretary for Sassari, "opened the lockers, soiling the healthcare workers' clothing and personal effects with excrement, and leaving shoes and other items scattered on the floor."
"This incident," the trade association continues, "represents a serious violation of the workers' safety and dignity, compromising an environment that should be safe, confidential, and respectful."
The union expresses concern and emphasizes that, "if they had found staff in the changing rooms at the time of the intrusion, the consequences could have been even more serious, putting the physical safety of the workers at risk."
"For this reason," the statement concludes, "we urgently ask the hospital administration to take immediate action with all necessary measures to ensure the protection of workspaces and the safety and dignity of healthcare workers."
