Cupid wakes Psyche with a kiss: "It's time to go to the office." Where the third-millennium son of Venus and Mars met his soulmate. The myth narrated by Apuleius spans the centuries, flourishes again at the front office of the Italian Post Office, and is embodied by two young, gentle-looking men from Ogliastra.

Marco Usai, from Baunei, and Claudia Pischedda, from Lanusei, 35 and 39, met and liked each other. And now they're in love. They've been doing the same job for fifteen years, starting as tellers, specializing, and becoming financial advisors. As their resumes grow, their passion grows, as does the desire to see each other again beyond the desks, to follow their hearts.

The spark – "We met in 2014 when we both started working at different post offices, me as a deputy manager and Claudia as a financial advisor," Marco explains. In 2015, he began his career as a financial advisor in Nuoro, at the Central Post Office in Piazza Crispi. "At the time, Claudia had already been a financial advisor for some time, based in Nuoro, so we found ourselves taking training and refresher courses together. Soon, we started hanging out outside of work hours, and thanks to the wonderful friendships we formed with several colleagues, we discovered we shared several passions. Over time, the spark ignited."

Work – Passion has become a genuine, true bond. A love story as beautiful as their respective professional paths. United in life, united in work, with parallel careers. Both now manage two post offices: Marco manages the branch on Via Don Manca in Tertenia, while Claudia manages the one in Bari Sardo, on Via Dessì. They have chosen to live in Santa Maria Navarrese, where they embrace each other in the evenings after each workday. At the post office of their heart, where being an employee requires "a great sense of responsibility, strong passion, and constant commitment to trying to best meet the needs of the customers who visit us in the office every day. We are part of a great company: solid, dynamic, and offering diverse career opportunities. A company that, beyond the work aspect, allows you to build deep personal relationships, strong bonds of friendship, or, as happened to us, something more."

United – Doing the same job "means above all discussion," Claudia observes, "support and understanding regarding what happens during the workday and the possibility of peacefully planning free time." They have the same schedule. "Working for the same company and performing the same role, leaving early in the morning and returning in the early afternoon, allows us to carve out time for ourselves while also cultivating shared passions."

The anniversary – Claudia Pischedda and Marco Usai discuss the feelings that unite them on Valentine's Day. Poste Italiane is celebrating this year with two colorful postcards. One of them is titled "Love is a secret combination." It's capable of reawakening Psyche in Cupid's arms.
