A 12-gauge shotgun with a scratched serial number, clandestine ammunition and several marijuana plants. This is what the agents of the Anti-Crime Squad found on the outskirts of Olbia, in the home of a man already known to the police for whom the arrest was made.

The person who alerted the Olbia Police Station was a passerby who had heard gunshots shortly before. The search was triggered and the rifle, in excellent condition and in perfect working order, was found hidden inside a chicken coop. The weapon, whose serial numbers had been removed, was together with the relative ammunition, which was also kept in a special container. Also seized were some marijuana plants in a fully vegetative state, planted in the garden in front of the house.

The necessary checks will be carried out on the weapon, to trace the owner and to verify any illicit use. The man is now in the Nuchis prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
