Starting from 2:00 PM this afternoon, the RIS (Italian Special Investigative Unit) in Cagliari will be searching for new evidence on the Nikitai yacht, the luxury vessel owned by the Ragnedda family, currently under seizure by the Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office.

Lo yatch della famiglia Ragnedda - sotto sequestro - ormeggiato a Cannigione sul Pontile dei fiori

The vessel, moored in the Cannigione tourist port, has become the focus of investigations into the murder of Cinzia Pinna, 33, killed on the night between September 11th and 12th on the Conca Entosa estate, between Arzachena and Palau.

Emanuele Ragnedda, a 41-year-old businessman from Arzachena, confessed to the crime after being arrested after a clumsy attempt to escape by sea using the Nikitai's tender, which failed disastrously against some rocks in Baja Sardinia.

A few hours later, at the police station in Palau, the man recounted what had happened: three gunshots to the woman's face, who was then hidden under a tree on the family's large property.

Just yesterday, during a new RIS inspection of the Ragnedda winery , fresh traces of blood were found outside the farmhouse where the crime took place. Investigators are now turning their attention to the yacht, where the businessman regularly stayed for days at a time. Investigators want to determine whether the vessel may have played a role in concealing the body or destroying potential evidence.

The Prosecutor's Office intends to shed light on two key aspects: the possible presence of accomplices—in the post-murder phase—and the disappearance of the victim's personal effects, including her cell phone and clothing, which have not yet been found.

These are open questions, which prosecutor Noemi Mancini, the lead investigator, hopes will be answered in the coming days. She was also present yesterday in Conca Entosa, where she personally followed the technical investigations carried out by the Carabinieri RIS (Italian National Institute of Investigation).
