Merry Christmas wishes to Sardinians , and not only, come from Platamona beach .
The splendid, evocative and majestic work of the artist Nicola Urru still surprises with its grandeur and beauty. In the fifth comb of the Sorso beach he created the sand sculpture representing the Nativity .
"The celebration of the family. Tradition wants it to be seen as its greatest excellence in the holy family with the little baby Jesus between his father and mother. This very symbolic family becomes the announcement that reminds us year after year of the rebirth of human union". This is the thought of the sculptor who continues to enchant with his hands , capable of creating works using only sand and water, ephemeral sculptures that last just long enough to transmit the message of hope, joy, and the deeper one of love and peace. Which unites not only at Christmas.
"May all humanity encourage the powerful so that the walls that oppress the weakest and most needy are shattered, and bridges and broad roads are inaugurated to bring together the peoples of the entire world in solidarity and peace."
