Control services were held in Sestu, Sinnai and Selargius for actions to combat labor exploitation and hygienic-sanitary violations in nightclubs.

The carabinieri of the local stations are in action together with the Nucleus of the Labor Inspectorate of the Arma and the NAS of Cagliari.

The sanctions concerned, with regard to the employment of undeclared workers (with relative suspension of entrepreneurial activity), a 27-year-old domiciled in Sestu, sole director of the company that manages a well- known restaurant where there were three illegal workers . The fines amount to 13,300 euros.

Another restaurant was fined 30,000 euros for "activating a commercial activity without specific authorisation" and failure to comply with some company procedures set out in the HCCP manual.

Furthermore, hygienic-sanitary problems related to food management were identified. The business ended up under administrative seizure as well as the equipment, for a total value of 100 thousand euros.

In total, 42 vehicles were checked during the checks; 67 people: two received fines for violations of the Highway Code and a 38-year-old from Cagliari was reported on the loose for driving under the influence. She was behind the wheel of her Ford and was subjected to the alcohol test which resulted in an alcohol content of 0.98 g / l, almost double the maximum allowed. Her driving license has been revoked.
