Appointed approved on October 19, frozen today. The role of socio-health director of the Gallura Local Health Authority, conferred by the general director Marcello Acciaro on Mara Lapia, lasted four days (with a protest from the M5S and the Democratic Party in between).

The torpedo towards the Nuoro lawyer had come from former penstastellate "friends": Lapia had landed in Parliament riding the long Grillina wave. Then she left, moving to the Mixed group to join the ranks of the Democratic Centre. Then the Legislature ended.

In recent days the appointment in the Gallura Local Health Authority. The request for access to the documents was immediately made by the regional councilors of the territory, Roberto Li Gioi (M5s) and Giuseppe Meloni (Pd). Their question: what skills in the healthcare field does Lapia have to fill that position?

She responded with a video published on social media: hers, she underlined, was not a political appointment but a "technical" one. Furthermore, he claimed to have a solid CV in the field. Among the experiences, also the collaboration with the ombudsman of Tuscany. In addition, she had also dealt with compensation for patients who had received infected blood during transfusions.

But online self-defense wasn't enough. Today Acciaro returned to the position, with a resolution to "update" the previous one, which reads: «The signing of the contract and the taking up of service is subject to the verification of the requirements by the competent bodies» . Therefore "it is necessary to obtain an opinion from the Department of Public Function so that it can proceed with an objective assessment regarding the existence of the appointment of Dr. Mara Lapia in relation to her CV and the requirements established by the regulations in force". Appointment frozen, therefore.

«Our concern was well-founded as we do not know that Dr. Lapia has gained experience in the healthcare field and we hope that the Department of Public Administration can clarify the matter», Li Gioi and Meloni state today.
