Every village in Castiadas will be decorated with magnificent lights for the Christmas holidays. The municipality has provided €53,000 for the holiday season.

"Not only will we add splendor and decor to the town's main streets," explains Mayor Eugenio Murgioni, "but we will transform these spaces into lively meeting points for residents and tourists."

The lights will be installed at seven strategic points: Olia Speciosa, Castiadas Centrale, Camisa, Annunziata, San Pietro, Maloccu, and Sant'Elmo, "with particular attention," the resolution states, "to areas with a high concentration of economic, tourist, and cultural activities."

The lights (all energy-efficient) will be turned on on December 8th and turned off on January 6th. The initiative, Murgioni concludes, "will offer residents and visitors a captivating holiday experience, strengthening, among other things, a sense of community."
