A year after the horrific femicide of Cinzia Pinna , the 32-year-old from Castelsardo killed with three gunshots by Emanuele Ragnedda in the Conca Entosa estate in Arzachena, on the night between 11 and 12 September, the municipal administration has chosen to illuminate the Doria castle, the symbol of the tourist village, in red.
It's a small gesture in memory of the young woman taken too soon from life and her loved ones. And it's also a sign of closeness to her family from the entire community who has never forgotten her.
The castle lights will be turned on at dusk this evening, Friday, September 11th, and will remain on until dawn on Saturday. A tragedy that speaks to the pain of two families. On November 10th, Ragnedda, charged with voluntary homicide aggravated by cruelty, vile motives, and torture, as well as concealment of a corpse, slander, and cocaine distribution, will appear before the Sassari Court of Assizes.
