It took the help of a helicopter to remove the mass of ferrous and plastic material that had been stationed since 2021 in the Pedraladda cove, on the Castelsardo coast.
An enormous quantity of waste, including tangled hard plastic nets and rusty iron rods, transported by the sea to the beach, near the Zirulia seafront, the stretch partially collapsed in 2020, on which urgent restoration work is underway.
