An enormous quantity of waste, including tangled hard plastic nets and rusty iron rods, transported by the sea to the beach, near the Zirulia seafront, the stretch partially collapsed in 2020, on which urgent restoration work is underway.

It was the Environment Councilor, Christian Speziga, a member of the new council led by the mayor Maria Lucia Tirotto who had just taken office, who requested the immediate intervention of the Star Work Sky helicopter, «a vehicle – he explains – already engaged in positioning some heavy supports along the rocky ridge of Lu Bagnu, optimizing the protection works from landslides that are taking place on state road 200".
