Cardedu, a nurse from Villanova Strisaili found dead in a car

A man, Giancarlo Usai, 66, from Villanovastrisaili, a retired nurse, was found dead in his car. The vehicle was parked in the Cardedu area, on the border with Bari Sardo. Initial investigations suggest he died several hours before he was found.

The exact cause of death is currently unknown, but the leading hypothesis seems to be a sudden illness while driving. Emergency personnel and Carabinieri officers from the Jerzu branch were on the scene.

The body was transported to the Lanusei morgue, at the disposal of the magistrate on duty, Giovanna Morra.
