Two are formally under investigation, while a third remains under suspicion of not having disclosed all his information to the judicial police. A breakthrough has been reached in the investigation into the killing of Giovanni Musu, the 53-year-old man stabbed to death and whose body was set alight Saturday night in the Colle Rosmarino park in Carbonia. Musu's body was found to have eight stab wounds to the back and one deep wound to the throat.

The defendants are defended by lawyers Fabio Basile and Giuseppe Cirronis, while Musu's family is assisted by the lawyer
