«With a unilateral decision and without any warning to the Municipality or even to the users, at the end of May Rfi interrupted the cleaning service and closed the bathrooms at the Carbonia station».

This was reported by the secretary of the garrison of the Fit Cisl of Sulcis Iglesiente, Alessandro Melis. «For almost twenty years the service in the Intermodal Center has been managed by Rfi and carried out by local companies that will now be forced to cut staff in Carbonia».

"The interruption of an important service for travellers is unacceptable: Carbonia", Melis underlines, "is the station with the highest flow of passengers, it is unthinkable that they are deprived of the possibility of using the bathrooms without being forced to have a drink in some bar".

The representative of the Fit asks for an "immediate U-turn by those in Rome who made this wicked decision. We know that even the Municipality was taken by surprise and will make its complaints. We certainly will not stand by and watch."
