He is one of the magnificent twenty-seven students who graduated with honors – 100 cum laude – and who, however, according to the Carbonia Lions Club , stood out from his other classmates.

During a sober ceremony, a scholarship offered by the philanthropic association was awarded to 18-year-old Mattia Pia , who took the final exam at the former Applied Sciences high school of Angioy . The recognition will allow him to train at the Faculty of Economics of the Bocconi University in Milan .

Present at the event were the president of the city club Attilio Burdi , the principal of the Angioy Teresa Florio Institute , the mayor Pietro Morittu who thanked the Carbonia Lions «for their constant commitment and attention always paid to the enhancement of culture and of young people". A positive example that could be imitated by many young people who attend school.
