A serious accident occurred around 7:30 PM on Via Costituente in Carbonia . For reasons yet to be determined, a man riding his motorcycle collided with a Volkswagen T-Roc. The fallen motorcyclist was first assisted by passersby, then by the Solki Soccorso emergency medical service, and later, given his condition, by the medical staff of the ambulance that arrived on the scene from Sirai Hospital in Carbonia.

According to initial reports, the motorcyclist reportedly suffered significant trauma to his arm and face .
