Army Corps General Teo Luzi, Commander General of the Carabinieri, visited the Carabinieri of Sardinia, marking an important moment of recognition for the commitment and dedication of the men and women in uniform on the island.

The visit began at the Carabinieri Company Headquarters in Quartu Sant'Elena, where General Luzi was welcomed by the Provincial Commander, Brigadier General Luigi Grasso, and by the Company Commander, Major Michele Cerri. Here he met the headquarters staff and wanted to leave his signature, as per tradition, on the service memorial in the Quartu Sant'Elena station. He wanted to underline the importance of the role of the Station Commander, a fundamental figure and point of reference for the local population, underlining its importance also in relation to his role of listening and dialogue with citizens.

He subsequently went to the "Sardinia" Carabinieri Legion Command, where he was received by Brigadier General Stefano Iasson. He met with the Regional Authorities, a representation of the Legion General Staff, the Provincial Commanders of Sardinia, as well as representatives of the professional associations of a trade union nature and of the National Carabinieri Association.

During the meetings he brought his greetings and compliments to the Carabinieri of Sardinia, praising their commitment, their professionalism and daily dedication to institutional duties. He underlined the importance of the constant presence of the Carabinieri alongside citizens, highlighting how the speed of change requires the force to keep pace with the times, guaranteeing today, as in the past, empathy and humanity in its actions in favor of citizens.
