Carabinieri patrols were conducted in Cagliari and several surrounding towns. The operation involved patrols from the Pirri and Cagliari San Bartolomeo stations and the Mobile Radio Unit, supported by civilian personnel. In total, over 200 people and numerous vehicles were checked, with a particular focus on preventing alcohol and drug-related incidents and driving while under the influence.

During checkpoints along the Poetto and Pula coastlines, Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari Operations Unit's Radiomobile Section reported six drivers, aged between 24 and 51, all residents of the Cagliari area, for driving under the influence of alcohol. The drivers, subjected to breathalyzer tests, tested positive for alcohol levels exceeding the legal limit. Following the checks, they were reported to the competent judicial authorities and their licenses were revoked.

In Pula, a 55-year-old local man was reported at large. The man, upon seeing officers while passing through the town, attempted to flee, but was immediately apprehended. A personal search found him in possession of a switchblade, which is prohibited from carrying. The weapon was seized and the man was reported to the competent judicial authorities.

The Carabinieri of the Decimomannu station reported another 39-year-old man, a worker, for unauthorized possession of weapons or objects capable of causing harm. The man, who had been reported agitated following an argument shortly before, was found in possession of a switchblade approximately 30 cm long, which was seized and he was reported to the judicial authorities.
