A rifle, two cleavers, and ammunition. All transported by car, without licenses or permits. This is the material found by the Sant'Antioco Carabinieri, which led to a complaint against a forty-four-year-old from Santadi.

During a night patrol, the officers' attention was drawn to a car parked in an irregular location in the countryside. Inside were a man and a woman.

The two men's typical "suspicious attitude" led to a search of the vehicle, which led to the discovery of a freely available rifle , partially modified in its structural components but with unchanged power, two cleavers and some ammunition.

The subsequent search extended to the man's home allowed the recovery of a further quantity of bullets of various calibres (12, 20 and 28).

The material was seized and the forty-four-year-old was reported for illegal possession of a weapon and illegal possession of ammunition.
