A road accident involving a brush fire occurred around 7:00 PM in Romana, in the province of Sassari.

For reasons yet to be determined, a car left the road, overturned, and caught fire . The sole occupant was helped out by passersby and taken to the scene by emergency medical services and the air ambulance.

The two firefighting teams extinguished the flames from the car and the surrounding vegetation, clearing the scene so that medical personnel could operate safely.
