There were moments of fear last night on State Road 554 when a car caught fire while driving. The fire broke out around 9:15 PM near the intersection leading to the Cagliari Motor Vehicle Office.

According to the reconstruction, the driver of the vehicle (a petrol vehicle) realised that
Smoke was coming out of the engine compartment. After stopping the car on the side of the road,
he moved away, making himself safe and calling for help.

Firefighters arrived on the scene, cordoned off the area, contained the fire, and extinguished it. The flames quickly engulfed the entire vehicle. Once extinguishing operations were completed, the team secured the area.
