Fear erupted last night in Olmedo after a car engulfed in flames near the sports field.

The fire broke out around 4am, prompting the fire brigade to intervene.

The team from the Alghero detachment arrived on site and immediately began extinguishing operations, managing to put out the fire and secure the area.

No injuries were reported .

The causes of the fire, which are currently under investigation, remain unclear.
