The first Easter market organized by the Frutti d'Oro Primary School, part of the Capoterra 2 Comprehensive Institute, concluded with great enthusiasm and extraordinary participation. The initiative transformed the school garden into a place of meeting, sharing, and learning, actively involving students, families, and teachers.
Thanks to the invaluable support of teachers, parents, the municipal administration, and the volunteer associations Misericordia di Capoterra and Capoterra 2.0, led by Mr. Vistosu, the children enjoyed a unique experience, living as small business owners. Throughout the day, visitors were able to purchase a wide variety of products: homemade sweets, Sardinian honey, vintage items, new and used toys, and numerous handmade crafts.
The event was not only a success in terms of participation, but also an important educational opportunity. The children had the opportunity to concretely understand the value of work, collaboration, and money management, learning the basic principles of financial education in a simple and engaging way.
The proceeds will be used to improve the curriculum and school facilities, thus contributing to the well-being of the entire community. The teachers expressed great satisfaction, emphasizing that seeing the fruits of their students' efforts translate into tangible benefits is one of the most meaningful lessons.
