Kidnapping, threats with a gun and an alleged debt to be paid. This is the disturbing picture that emerges from an investigation conducted by the Carabinieri of Capoterra, which culminated this morning with the execution of a residence ban order against a twenty-one-year-old local, already known to the police.
The facts date back to September 2024, when a 39-year-old woman showed up terrified at the Carabinieri station, reporting that she had been lured to an isolated area – the Mitza Caria area – with a pretext, and then threatened with a firearm and forced into a car. Next to the young man, an accomplice who has not yet been identified. The motive? An alleged debt that the attacker was trying to collect.
Fortunately, the victim managed to free himself and escape, saving himself and raising the alarm. From that moment on, a tight investigative activity began that allowed the military to collect serious evidence against the boy, so much so as to convince the Cagliari Prosecutor's Office to request a precautionary measure to prevent further episodes of violence.
The preliminary investigations judge has ordered a ban on residence in Capoterra: the twenty-one-year-old will have to leave the town and reside elsewhere, with the obligation to regularly report to the judicial police.
The investigation remains open: investigators are working to identify the second attacker and clarify every detail of this incident .
