The wait is over: tomorrow morning, a new section of the 195bis "Nuova Sulcitana" state road between the Macchiareddu consortium backbone and the Capoterra junction for provincial road 91 will open to traffic.

At the same time, the SS195dir, the Capoterra bypass, will also enter into service, with the opening of the Capoterra and Su Loi junctions.

The opening will be temporary , as some construction work is still underway. A 50 km/h speed limit will be in effect on the new section of the SS195bis, while in the direction of Cagliari, at km 10+660, the carriageway will narrow from two lanes to one, with a 40 km/h speed limit, a no-overtaking policy, and a mandatory exit.

On the Capoterra slip road and on the Capoterra and Su Loi junction ramps, the speed limit will be 40 kilometers per hour, with overtaking prohibited.

Pedestrians, bicycles, mopeds, agricultural vehicles, and other vehicles not permitted on these types of roads will remain prohibited. Anas advises motorists to exercise extreme caution, reminding them that temporary roadworks may be present along the route until the final inspection is complete.
