Last night, the Carabinieri of Capoterra arrested a 37-year-old unemployed man from Cagliari, living in the city center and already known to the police, pursuant to an order revoking his house arrest issued by the Judicial Authority.
The restrictive measure stems from numerous and timely reports: the man, who was serving a sentence under house arrest for mistreatment of family members, had repeatedly violated the provisions of the alternative measure, demonstrating conduct incompatible with the continuation of the benefit.
The judicial authorities thus ordered the revocation of house arrest and the reinstatement of prison custody. After completing the formal procedures, the arrested man was taken to the Ettore Scalas prison in Uta.
