Toilets were trashed, sticks disguised as flagpoles were used, and attempts were made to provoke confrontations with opposing fans. This is what happened yesterday in Campobasso, before, during, and after the Serie C home match between the local team and Torres, which ended 1-1.

According to the reconstruction by the Police Headquarters, during the influx of fans into the stadium , around 60 away fans, after forcing the bus driver to stop in a different place than the one agreed upon, approached the local fans' stand to provoke them .

The group was initially stopped by law enforcement officers and then led back to the away section. During the match, all Torres fans were identified, and their vehicles were checked and a search was carried out, resulting in the discovery of 40 batons disguised as flagpoles .

During the match, fixtures in the away-seat restrooms were also damaged. Due to the behavior of the Sardinian supporters, the Campobasso Police Headquarters announced that those responsible will be reported to the judicial authorities and their status will be assessed with a view to issuing bans.

The same fate befell approximately 100 Campobasso ultras who, at the end of the match, positioned themselves near the away fans' exit gate, acting threateningly and defiantly, attempting to block the exit of the fans.
