Thousands of people in Sorso's historic center, lining the streets and squares, transformed the city into a vast journey dedicated to wine, flavors, music, and entertainment for an entire night. Calici di Stelle Sorso 2026 confirmed its role as the highlight of the Sorso summer, closing an edition marked by extraordinary public participation. A large-scale collective celebration that, despite the particularly high attendance, took place in an atmosphere of absolute tranquility, allowing residents and visitors to fully experience the historic center. From 8:00 PM until late at night, the city's streets, squares, and characteristic corners welcomed a large and diverse crowd, accompanying them on a journey through tastings, food specialties, live music, art, crafts, dance, and entertainment. At the heart of the event, of course, was wine and its excellence. The 2026 edition featured the Sorso-Sennori Winery, Demuru Winery of Meana Sardo, Tenute Dettori, Nuraghe Crabioni Winery, Schintu Giuseppino Farm, and Distretto Sardegna Bio, alongside other local producers and the numerous businesses, retailers, and associations that contributed to the event. The evening began at 8:00 pm in the courtyard of the Palazzo Baronale, with an official event hosted by Barbara Kal and the "Modas" fashion show by designers Antonella Fini and Francesca Bassu. From there, the celebration gradually spread throughout the historic center, transforming it into a vast open-air stage. The musical program was rich, spanning a wide range of genres and sounds. Taking turns on stage and along the route were Maria Grazia Colombino and Irene Dore, Luca Manca, The Punch, Blaster, Steros, Raimondino, Andrea Manca, Gianni Masia Trio, Ipnotici, Puro Malto, Vanagloria – Tribute to Negrita, The Snus, La Help Band, Sossu Racconta, Sors'Amigos, Cecilia Concas, Senza Base, Hollywood Band, LG – Tribute & Friends, Double Dose, Piccola Orchestra Goganga – Tribute to Gaber and Jannacci, Animali di Zona – Tribute to Litfiba, Fabio Foddai – Vignaviva, Daniel DJ, Spotyfois, the DJ set by Beppe Spanu, Sandro Lunesu and Angelino Live Percussion. Among the night's highlights was the "Psicomagick" fireshow, which, with fire, lights, and performances, treated the audience to one of the most spectacular spectacles of the event. "Calici di Stelle has become one of the events that best showcases Sorso and its ability to welcome and build community," said Mayor Fabrizio Demelas. "Seeing thousands of people experience our historic center, its new squares designed and conceived to be exceptional locations for events, and its streets in a festive and peaceful atmosphere is the most beautiful achievement."
