A plaque and a mural created by the youth to transform memory into a message for the new generations. This was one of the highlights of the "Youth for Legality" day, hosted at the IPIA in Calangianus and promoted by Auser, the municipal administration, and the "Don Gavino Pes" Technical Center in Tempio.

The meeting was attended by Mayor Fabio Albieri and Giovanni Impastato, brother of Peppino, the Sicilian journalist and activist killed by the Mafia in 1978. He was joined by the Public Prosecutor of Tempio Pausania, Alessandro Bosco, and the President of the Court, Caterina Interlandi. Also present were the school principal, Professor Spampani, the teachers, and numerous students. The morning's focus was on the value of legality, the role of schools, and the need to keep alive, especially among young people, knowledge of the stories of those who fought organized crime and the culture of silence.

The unveiling of the plaque dedicated to Peppino Impastato and the mural created by the students of the "N. Ferracciu" IPIA were particularly significant. This work directly involved the students and will remain at the school as a permanent reminder of the initiative. One of Impastato's most famous quotes also served as a common thread throughout the day: "If we taught people beauty, we would provide them with a weapon against resignation, fear, and silence."
