The meeting of the Calangianus municipal council, convened this afternoon, opened the legal action of the Gallura towns against the wind farm project of the Trynyty Srl company .
The mayor of Calangianus, Fabio Albieri , has obtained the green light from the civic assembly for a series of legal initiatives to oppose the installation of six wind turbines in the territory of several municipalities in upper Gallura, including, in addition to Calangianus, Telti and, to a lesser extent, Olbia.
Sant'Antonio Mayor Carlo Viti was present in the chamber and confirmed that an extraordinary city council meeting would be called for tomorrow.
"We're talking about wind turbines and towers that exceed 200 meters in height," Albieri said, "massive structures with a devastating visual impact, destined to unacceptably degrade our skyline and the shared landscape that makes Gallura unique in the world."
