Following the controversy of the last few hours, the Region and the Municipality of Golfo Aranci are carrying out checks on the preparation work in the area designated as the set for the film “Grown Ups 3” .
The Tempio Pausania forestry inspectorate has begun an investigation to ensure full compliance with the regional regulations contained in the permits issued to the Roman company Panorama Films. The inspections ruled out the movement of sand on the beach or earth for the construction of a beach volleyball court. The presence of a bulldozer near the Cala Llanes Guerra beach in the Gulf of Orosei province is permitted only for the purpose of compacting a dirt road .
However, inspections are underway. So far, no violations of any kind have been detected . The Region has given the green light, before the work begins, to the use of the following beaches: Cala Liccia, Petra Ruja, and Romazzino in the Municipality of Arzachena, Rena Bianca and Cala Botta in the Municipality of Olbia, Cala Llanes Guerra, and Cala Moresca in Golfo Aranci for a period from September 16 to October 30.
The regulations of the State Property, Heritage and Local Authorities Service of Sassari and Olbia-Tempio are very strict: "Transformations of the beaches, the seabed or the layout of the sites" are not permitted.
The environmentalists of Grig and Maremosso, however, raise the issue of the appropriateness of authorizing interventions of this type in areas of extremely high environmental value and SIC.
