Yesterday morning, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, acting on a mandate from the Lanusei Public Prosecutor's Office, placed seals on the pier leading to Cala Luna beach.

The structure was seized following a complaint from the Municipality of Baunei dated January 2025, according to which the Municipality of Dorgali , the concessionaire of the pier as the winner of the tender, was not authorized to carry out the construction work.

The incident certainly doesn't bode well for the upcoming tourist season, just as dozens of boats were preparing to ferry tourists from around the world to the East Coast's premier beach.
