Cala Ginepro: They lost track of their son while he was swimming in the pond. He was found after an hour, but he was in the water.

They had lost sight of their 12-year-old son while swimming in the waters of the "Sa Curcurica" pond in Cala Ginepro. So, around 8 p.m., a German couple alerted the fire department, explaining that they had lost track of the boy for about an hour.

The Olbia Port Authority immediately began the search, activating its rescue operations. A team from the Siniscola Fire Department was dispatched to conduct a land search along the coast, along with a dinghy and a jet ski for the sea search. The UAV unit was also activated.

The boy was found around 9:30 pm by a coast guard patrol boat: he was still in the water, but safe and sound and in good health.
