The Sant'Efisio College in Cagliari is expanding: the new wing has been completed, providing 20 additional beds for out-of-town students. The project was completed thanks to €400,000 in funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), with the aim of strengthening the quality housing offer and actively supporting the right to education.

The new area was created in collaboration with the University of Cagliari: the spaces will immediately welcome Erasmus students and, starting in May, an international summer school promoted by the university.

Furthermore, starting from the next academic call, 20% of the rooms will be reserved for assignment through the Regional Agency for the Right to Education.

The Archbishop of Cagliari, Giuseppe Baturi, also spoke at the inauguration, emphasizing the educational and social value of the new facility:
A home, but—like every home—built for going out: a warm, welcoming place, yet capable of instilling the courage and boldness needed to invest in the future of our territories, Sardinia, and Cagliari. A starting point for imagining, over the years, a network of collaboration and friendship for the good of this land.
