Cagliari's local health authority (ASL) team is complete: new administrative and health directors have been appointed.

The Cagliari Local Health Authority (ASL) has a full team: new Director General Aldo Atzori has appointed Dr. Alessandro Coni as acting health director and Dr. Laura Balata as administrative director.

Alessandro Coni, a psychiatrist, is currently the Director of the Cagliari Department of Mental Health (SC CSM 1). He previously served as Director of the Mental Health Department of the Cagliari Local Health Authority (ASL) and the Sanluri Local Health Authority (ASL). He was the interim Director of the Mental Health Department and Addiction Department of the Carbonia Local Health Authority (ASL) and the Southern Zone Department.

Laura Balata, currently Head of the Budget Service, was Head of the Legal and Economic Service at Local Health Authority No. 8 and previously served as Administrative Director of the Cagliari Local Health Authority and Arnas Brotzu. The strategic direction of Local Health Authority No. 8 is thus completed with the two acting managers, who have extensive experience managing administrative structures and in-depth knowledge of the local healthcare system and the internal dynamics of the region.
