Carabinieri carried out checks over the weekend. Numerous patrols were carried out in Sanluri and other towns in the Cagliari hinterland: two people were reported for drunk driving, one for driving without a license because he never obtained one, and one for carrying offensive objects. Several drug-related reports were also issued.

Stop and raise your hand. On Saturday night in particular, the Carabinieri of Sanluri , Nuraminis , Serramanna , Samatzai , Lunamatrona , and Villasor were engaged in a comprehensive patrol operation along the main roads and in the surrounding towns. The operation, aimed at preventing widespread crime and primarily ensuring road safety, resulted in the arrest of over 60 people and around thirty cars.

A 34-year-old man, according to police, was found in possession of a quantity of narcotics for personal use. A 35-year-old man was caught driving a car owned by an acquaintance, but had never obtained a license.

In Sanluri and Lunamatrona, the Carabinieri stopped a 63-year-old man and a 43-year-old man caught driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit. Their driving licenses were immediately revoked and their vehicles impounded. Furthermore, after a personal search, the 43-year-old was also reported for carrying offensive objects: he was found in possession of a knife measuring over 20 centimeters.
