The redevelopment project for Viale Sant'Avendrace in Cagliari, a €2.6 million project, was presented to residents. The work, which will begin this fall, is expected to last a year, Mayor Massimo Zedda announced.

The plan includes resurfacing the road, installing new granite sidewalks, and raising pedestrian crossings near the intersection with Via Isonzo, as well as upgrading the lanes and signage.

The works also include the construction of a new roundabout located between Viale Trento and Viale Sant'Avendrace.

Improved lighting is also planned, and the current parking space will be maintained. The water distribution network will be replaced, the underground utilities will be redone, and the stormwater network will be upgraded with the installation of new drains. Finally, the streetscape will be enhanced with public greenery.
