The Asse Mediano is preparing to host two maintenance operations on the carriageway towards Sassari. Tomorrow, Thursday, November 6th, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., inspection and resurfacing work is scheduled, which will involve diversions and lane narrowing.

The first step involves assessing a possible road collapse near a manhole cover, at kilometer marker 4+300, near the start of the bridge. To allow for safe operations, vehicles coming from Cagliari and heading towards Sassari will be temporarily diverted to the Via Dei Conversi exit.

Next, technicians will proceed with resurfacing the road surface between kilometer markers 5+750 and 6+100, still in the direction of Sassari. During this phase, traffic will be reduced to a single lane. Traffic will be regulated by appropriate signage and the presence of traffic controllers to manage the flow of vehicles and ensure motorists' safety.

The Cagliari City Council recommends driving with extreme caution, obeying speed limits, and respecting construction site signs on a stretch of road already notorious for its frequent accidents (almost a daily occurrence) and heavy traffic, especially during rush hour.
