Hit by a car in front of the old Sant'Elia stadium in Cagliari , she ended up on the ground hitting her head violently.

A 61-year-old woman was rescued by 118 and taken urgently to hospital with a red code assigned: the Brotzu doctors confirmed the severity of the injuries and traumas reported, arranging the transfer to intensive care. For now the prognosis is kept confidential.

The accident occurred around 8pm yesterday, after the conclusion of the match between Cagliari and Roma which was played at the Unipol Domus. The woman is almost certainly a fan who had recently witnessed the Serie A match between the rossoblù and the giallorossi teams.

The driver of the car stopped immediately and was later identified. Local police patrols were on site to carry out the investigations.
