Traffic disruption due to a large water leak that flooded the roadway in Piazza Deffenu , in the direction of Via Roma, this morning in Cagliari.

The water forced cars to slow down , almost to a stop, with traffic jams in Viale Colombo for a few hundred meters. The repair work, ordered by Abbanoa, began around 13:00 with, on site, some patrols of the local police. At that point the water main had already given way in the past.

The hope is that the road surface will be restored quickly , before all schools reopen.
